What your client sees

Your client wants to know how big the new room really is, how much light it gets and how it joins the house. In the model they walk through the new space, look out to the garden and see where the light comes in.

The stages follow the job: the foundations and the floor slab, the walls and the roof, then the day the back of the house is opened up, the glazing, the wiring and plumbing, the plaster, the floor and the new kitchen.

What to send us

• The drawings: the ground floor plan as it is now and as it will be, and the elevations (the drawings of each side). Any format works. No drawings? A sketch with the sizes of the house and of the extension.
• Photos, if you can: the back of the house, the garden where the extension goes, the rooms it opens into, and the front. They make the model look like their own house.
• What gets built: the roof, the outside walls, the glazing and the opening into the house, and the kitchen and floors if they are part of the job.

Send them from your phone, in any order: photos, PDFs, drawings and notes. The model is back within two working days, usually the next day.
